Anon's Underground fights

Anon ventured into the Undergrounds with his students to teach them the tactics of battle.

... But Anon decided to venture forth when he was ready.

Before deciding to rest, Anon wanted to test the effectiveness of his group. He and Serena readied themselves in cover, with Natasha covering from a high place. Kenji, Duke and D made themselves ready in the middle while Lucius and Sedna prepared behind them.

The member 'Skyrunner' has done the following action : Dices roll

'Monsters Dice' :

"That's too easy!" Duke in his shiny armor readied a Javelin while Natasha lined up a shot.

Evens hit, Odds miss.

(if Javelin hits, it will get stuck in target and will be paralyzed for one turn).

The member 'Skyrunner' has done the following action : Dices roll

'Damage Dice' : 2

The Javelin slammed into the Ortadar, it lurched back but still stood.
-25 health. Total 45.

"Natasha!" Anon yelled.
"Da, I'm on it!"
She gripped her rifle with intensity as she readied a head shot.

(Two rolls that must be greater than eight, would be ten but -2 for being paralyzed).

The member 'Skyrunner' has done the following action : Dices roll

'Damage Dice' : 2, 1

The shot veered wildly to the side as Natasha missed.
"Damn, never happened before."
Kenji pulled out his katana and stared running at the target, going for a slash that would lop off the head.

(First number hit or miss, second monster retaliation).

The member 'Skyrunner' has done the following action : Dices roll

'Damage Dice' : 4, 3

The monster flailed it's arms wildly as tried to hit Kenji but he was too quick. He easly got passed it's guard and slashed it's neck, the head taking a few seconds before falling off. The body was still waving it's arms around madly, Kenji kicked the monster to the ground and stabbed his sword into it, the monster becoming still in a matter of seconds.

Kenji wiped the blood of his sword before he prayed over the body.
"Rest in peace."
He joined up with the rest of the group as they looked for another monster.

Rolling.

'Monsters Dice' :

As the group came across the spirit, Lucius pushed his way in front.
"Everyone, allow me." He calmly apprached the spirit as the rest of the group watched. The spirit was that of an old man and kept complaining about life and how he still had things to do. Lucius pulled out a staff with his left hand and a tome with his right.
"Brother, I know you don't know where you are but you are dead. You need to move on into the next life." Lucuis read some passages from the tome and pointed his staff at the ground, where a bright yellow portal opened.
"Proceed, please." The spirit question what was happening but complied with Lucius wish. As soon as the old man stepped on the portal, he began to evaporate with a joyous expression on his face.
The postal closed after a few seconds and Lucius put away his items and looked back at his group, most of which had pleasantly shocked expressions.
"Most spirit's don't even know they're dead. You tell them and show them a way and they'll comply." The group carried on with the hunt.

Spirit defeat by Lucius using an exorcism.
Groups continues.

The member 'Skyrunner' has done the following action : Dices roll

'Monsters Dice' :

D, Sedna and Serena, you're up. D got in front of Sedna, Longsword drawn while Serena circled the creature.

Everyone waited until it attacked D. He was ready so there was a good chance it could block his attack.

(Even block, odds hit).

The member 'Skyrunner' has done the following action : Dices roll

'Damage Dice' : 6

D easily absorbed the flailing of the Ortadar limbs with his kite shield. D bashed the monster with the shield and it fell straight to the ground.

-15 health from shield bash. Total 55.

Serena was in position up a tree and jumped with a Katana in hand she planned to stab into the beast.

(4 hit, others miss).

The member 'Skyrunner' has done the following action : Dices roll

'Damage Dice' : 2

Serena was off by a few centimeters and was startled by the landing. As such the monster, flailed it's limps and caught her in the face, breaking her nose and sending blood everywhere. D went to cover her.
"Sila! Defend us!" Sedna was again riding Sila and held a spear in her hand.
"Pray to your god, daemon." She charged the monster which was still flailing it's limb around.

Serena Injured - Can't fight until healed.
(Odds hit, Even Miss).

The member 'Skyrunner' has done the following action : Dices roll

'Damage Dice' : 6

Sedna missed the monster but Sila didn't. She hit with such force that it again knocked down the creature.

-10 health from charge. Total 45.

"Let's end this." Sedna concentrated and the light of the Aurora danced around her. She held out a hand and it followed the direction towards the creature. At first it didn't seem to notice but then if became infuriated, waving around crazier than usual. After a few seconds it went still and fell over, all the life drained from it. Sedna released her concentration and fell off her saddle, Sila close by to provide her support. Sila helped her up and Sedna pointed to Serena.
Serena was doing her best to stem the blood with little result. Sedna once again let the light of the Aurora flow through her and onto Serena but instead this time, her nose moved effortlessly back into no place with no pain. She felt around her repaired nose and looked amazed.
"The light can give life... but also take it away." D sheathed his weapons and returned to the group. Sila remained a giant cat for a few more minutes before somehow mysteriously shrinking with Sedna carrying her.
Anon went over to Serena and helped her up.
"You okay? You've lost a bit of blood." She nodded.
"I need to practice for tomorrow, I'll catch up later." Anon left the clearing with a goodbye as Serena started to climb some trees and jump from them.

The group heads for camp.
