| One of the remotest places in North America, it's said to not even exist. By following the path, you gaze upon the spectacle. The Aurora, dancing with green, purple and light blue; fluctuates like the tide at the beach. The colors seem to drop from the sky like a heavenly rain shower, they mix with the crystal clear water coming out of peak of Mist Peak. You reflect a moment as you take in this unnatural, unearthly yet gorgeous beauty. | |

| Anon just stood their metaphorically frozen. It was beautiful, an unnatural wonder that existed in this world. Just beautiful. Anon made his way up a winding path to the side of the waterfall that took him straight to the top. The point where the light meets the water made Anon feel something, even though he was a spirit. The water came rushing out of a giant cave ahead of him that went deeper into the mountain but as for now, there was a short level platform on either side of the waterfall before it fell from Mist Peak. Anon placed his body to one side and looked around, he didn't know what he was supposed to do now. The snow had been falling steadily but when he had reached the peak, it turned into a storm. The snow got so hard that he couldn't even see in front of himself. Somewhere, he could hear the growling of a creature. When the snow started to dissipate, he could see two glowing eyes. The dark blue lines and the white spaces on the large tiger suggest to Anon that this was a rare breed of Arctic Tiger.
It was a beautiful beast, one-and-a-half times as tall as Anon it just stood their and stared. Anon didn't even flinch, what could a massive tiger do to a spirit? A figure jumped off from the saddle Anon couldn't see and scratched the tiger behind the ear, it squirmed just like any cat does. "There, there Sila. No need to be angry." The figure moved from being Sila's head and now he could see. Again, it was another maiden that Anon could compare to Sai but that's where the differences ended. Where she had a fatal beauty to her, this maiden had a serene and peaceful energy emanating from her. Anon waved an arm in front of her. "I'm sorry, I can't see you. Sila can, something about different energy patterns but I do sense your presence. I'm Sedna, the guardian of this Waterfall. What brings you here?" Anon still didn't flinch but something caught his attention. She had a natural beauty people born in this region of the world had. Her hair was tied into three strands, then into a single thin strand down her back. Guessing by what she was dressed in, cold weather clothing that could also be worn over summer, she was Inuit. "You're not normal, are you?" Anon spoke. Sila made a short growl. "Well, my people do actually worship me, so you could call me a goddess. So why are you here? Ah, you're body."
Sedna looked around and couldn't see anything, only when Sila had nudged the snow off did she see the blanket. "Oh, that's not good." Sila began clearing a region in the middle of the waterfall, a platform in the middle of the water. Sedna took Anon's body and laid it down to rest. She applied snow across the gaping wounds to his chest, arms and legs. "Okay, now I'm going to begin. Ready?" Anon nodded and she started. The lights of the Aurora started flickering, waving and dancing much faster than usual. Then through a series of hand movements, she seemed to guide the light into Anon's body. The snow started to meld with the skin and Anon could feel a force pulling him closer to his body. He blinked and when he opened his eyes, the whole world went white. He began to feel his body again, the spot Sai's katana had pierced him was not smooth skin, the shattered bones healed and his internal organs mended. He looked over his destroyed chain mail and cloak, lamenting that the chain mail was common but the cloak would take time to repair. "Easy now, I just brought you back. You need to take it easy for the next few days." "No..." Anon was relieved that he could hear his own voice again, "You placed me in my body, someone else pulled me from the abyss." Sedna didn't looked surprised at all. "The only person I think that could do that is another guardian like me or a powerful magician. Either way, you're as good as new. Sila, take him home and make sure he has rest, okay?" Sila gave a quiet purr. Anon couldn't move so Sedna helped him into Sila's saddle. "Hang on." "Why?" Sila took off down a hidden pathway on the other side of the waterfall, big enough for the cat. "I would like to meet this magician friend of yours! See you next time!" Sedna yelled after them. Anon passed out here, not sure if it was the cold or the delight of getting his body back but he didn't care. | |
