Karhrie's & Alister Camp

Karhrie had packed a sleeping bag, a lantern, & some other important items with her that she thought would come in handy.

She noticed she was the first one in the safety zone & found it easy to set up her place.

Her surroundings was very cold, so Karhie wrapped herself in her sleeping bag and decided to draw in her sketchpad while she waited for the others.

Just two more days till the Hunt. Karhrie thought to herself.

She was a little nervous but at the same time excited about her first Demon Hunt in so many years.

She remembered how scared she was when she first competed in the Demon Hunt. And how she got better at dealing with it too as she used to it. Also, she hunted in a group so she felt more comforted.

But it's just me & Alister I guess. Karhrie thought to herself.
I hope he gets here soon....

Karhrie looked up as she saw Leon back from the Demon Hunt store stand.

"Alright, I got ourselves a revival potion, holy watered darts, poisoned darts, & boxed lunches." He sat down beside Karhrie & put the items in his pack.

"Thanks!" Karhrie smiled. "Hey, do you like my drawing?" Karhrie showed Alister a picture of a girl sitting in a grassland, looking up at a beautiful sky filled with big puffy clouds.

"It's beautiful, K." He kissed her on the cheek then took out a water bottle & drank it.

Karhrie blushed. "You always say that to my drawings, you know."

"No, no, I mean it. I really do. Your drawings are always beautiful.... Just like the artist herself, except, she's even more beautiful." Alister grinned & looked at the blushing & smiling Karhrie.

"Oh, stop it!" She smiled at the wide smiled Alister.

"You are so cute you know that?" Alister said.

"Well, you tell me that almost everyday." Karhie laughed.

Alister laughed too.

"Want to do some warm up fights?"

"Sure." Karhrie agreed.

"That was a nice warm up fight, huh?" Alister asked Karhrie.

"Yeah, we did pretty good. But that's because the demons we faced were just weak ones." Karhrie said cleaning her silver katana of Demon blood.

"But I know we're ready." Alister said wiping his own katana. "We make a pretty good team, me & you."

"You think so?" Karhrie looked up at Alister.

Alister smiled at Karhrie. "I know so."

Then he continued wiping his katana. "Let's hope we win the Demon Hunt tomorrow. I saw this group of kids with this mysterious man in a hood a while back. They're entering the Hunt too & they looked pretty skilled. They also outnumber us, but I think we can still have a chance. Let's hope we win K."

"Yeah, let's hope." Karhrie said back.

Just before heading out into the tunnels, Karhrie & Alister heard a voice.

"Karhrie! Alister! Wait!"

Alister & Karhrie turned around.

It was Tamry! An orphanage volunteer just like Karhrie.

"Tamry, what are you doing here?" Karhrie asked.

Tamry took a few moments to catch her breath, "Can I go hunting with you guys?"

"Hunting? But isn't it a bit late to register-"

"No, actually I registered my name a few days ago. I just forgot to make my camp! but, please, Karhrie & Alister, let me be apart of you team. I'm pretty useful with my silver pistol & I won't slow you guys down. Also.... I don't want to go in alone... So, please!" Tamry begged.

Karhrie looked at Alister & he smiled.
"Of course you can Tam! Join the party! We'll need all the help we can get!"

"Oh, thanks! But, you know, I hate being called Tam, Alister! Unless you want me to call you Ali, then you can't call me Tam!"

"Alright, I'm sorry Tamry! I must've forgotten, after all, I haven't seen you in awhile."

"Apology accepted, now let's go!" Tamry went off with Alister & Karhrie following.
